::Biography::
Leon "Livewire" Lewis was born on April 20th, 1989 in the South Beach section of Miami, Florida. His mother; Leona Grant was a registered nurse who workd her nights at St. Mary's Hospital in Miami. His father was Lee "Madman" Lewis was a professional wrestler who worked with the MWA(Miami Wrestling Alliance).
His father was trained by the great Mexican wrestling legend; Jose Cortez a.k.a. J.C. Stubz who moved to Miami in 1979 after he retired from professional wrestling. J.C. gave Lee all the tools there was to be a great entertainer as well as being a great wrestler.
In August of 1995, Leon's parents were killed in a tragic car accident by a drunk driver. It was just hours after Leon's father became the first African-American to win the MWA World Heavyweight Championship.
One year later, J.C. Stubz adopted young Leon and they moved to Mexico City, Mexico to start the preperations to train to pick up where Lee left off. By the age of seven, Leon was getting a first hand course at what it was to become a professional wrestler.
Over the span of ten years, J.C. trained Leon day in and day out, molding him to be tohe best luchador wrestler that Mexico had ever seen. By the age of seventeen, Leon got his first big break at professional wrestling in the Mexican syndicate.
Performing in underground wrestling federations in Mexico for about two years, Leon later moved back to Miami to finish off the legacy that his father left behind. Once he got to the MWA, J.C. Stubz gave Leon the name LIVEWIRE.
He had gotten that name from his short fuse, high risk, never-say-die attitude. While in MWA, Livewire out performed everyone there and later became the first ever, second generation superstar to win the World title. Over the past two and half years, the recession and low economy has caused the MWA and other federations that Livewire has been in to shut down.
With Livewire out of work and looking around, while he was performing at a local underground wrestling federation in Mexico, he came across Hardknox that his booking manager "Pretty" Ricky Primo presented to him.
Livewire wasted no time and signed his name on the contract to pick up where his careeer left off: On top!
